We just switched Awempty.com to a new server, that's why the site was inaccessable for a few days.

I Wanna Be The Guy
May 13, 2008, 05:35:47 am by Eric
I've recently went back to play an old game that I had given up before due to its overwhelming difficultly. But for that very same reason I've become addicted to the game and have beaten it twice. IWBTG is not your average game, it can take a couple hours to past a few screens in the game if your unexperienced. It takes a lot of patience, skill and willpower to overcome it. The gameplay resembles a metroidvania type game.
You can find it at its homepage here http://kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/index.php.
You control a tiny sprite and the mere scratch of virtually anything will kill you in one hit. There are save points every once in a while to help you out. Also most of the bosses, music and sound effects are ripped from old 8-bit classics. To save the website some bandwidth you should download the demo version first to try, it includes the first three bosses and the save file will still be compatible with the full version if you ever decide to progress that far.
Here's a YouTube video of the game, you can find a plethora of these on YouTube, including guides to show you what to do.

HELP ME out
March 08, 2008, 06:15:04 am by Chris
Hey Eric fans, if you could help me out by voting for my idea that would be great.
http://www.cambrianhouse.com/idea/idea-promoter/ideas-id/KQLaZZL/
Requires a quick registration. Remember to give me 5 stars.
If I win I get $100 for my NONPROFIT organization "The Give Foundation." And my idea is winning right now so your vote WILL ACTUALLY COUNT!
Thanks!
